  2. Jack and Bob come together like latte and gateaux. It’s as if they’ve blown out of the 30’s dust bowl and all of that grit pours off of the page or out of the speakers. Also John Steinbeck and Allen Ginsberg have the same effect. And of course the grandfather of their tradition: ‘Every moment of light and dark is a miracle’ Walt Whitman.
