A Week of Thieves

For you, and to remind myself – below, the renga diary continues – and will do for the foreseeable future – I fear we are not out of this yet, not by a long way.

I’m calling this my week of thieves: first the wind, then the progression of glaucoma and the threat to the vision in my right eye, and then to top it all the farce of Dim and Dom…which stole so much from all of us.

This sun is lovely though, isn’t it – hope you’re getting out there, but always staying safe

13th May onwards

writing and planning
watering the stone buddha

Nigel is dead
cauliflower is trending
twittersphere

spring clean the old conservatory
made new with plants

drops for dilation
dazzling light
glaucoma day

explore optic nerve stimulation
the possible restoration of vision

I wanted my life to close
and open like a wing (Mary Oliver)

wide grassy track
to narrow cleft
in the forgotten quarry

laying waste to the tulips
wild wind out of the West

Boris Johnson
Dominic Cummings
lockdown thieves

    1. Thank you Kelly – thanks for your good wishes. I’m hoping to have some treatment in Berlin later in the year. I do hope you are keeping well.
