Hi Vic, great to hear from you and thanks so much for your comment. I’m so glad you’re enjoying The Orchid House. It was quite a difficult decision for me to publish it myself but my agent was very positive about it and it received some really good/ nearly there feedback from one or two of the big publishers. As soon as I visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan I knew I wanted to set a novel there – such an inspiring place. I love orchids,though I’m sure I know much less about them than you, so I do hope my research stands up! Best wishes, Avril
