Where Is Home?

I’m in the West Country the place where I grew up, a place I still love to come back to and

The Lighthouse on the beach at Burnham-on-Sea where I grew up.

still think of as my home.I don’t like to think of a time when I won’t come back to this special place –

‘Just after sunset, and the tide

high almost white, dull-

lambent like nothing the sky…   (from Philip Gross’s T.S. Eliot Prize winning collection The Water Table)

Maya Angelou says ‘The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned’

I wonder where’s home for you?
