Hi Adrian , thanks so much for ordering – yes indeed, the voice has its origins back in the Manchester competition. At the time I was first writing in the voice I thought maybe I was going a bit crazy! but when it was shortlisted, along with your story and the four others, it gave me the confidence to carry on and write the novel. Hope you enjoy it. Ive been getting some great feedback so far. I should warn you there may be a bit of a delay in publication- due to printing issuse but they are being resolved as I write, so fingers crossed.best wishes Avril
